1. Appalachian Christmas Mountain Farms

Appalachian Christmas Mountain Farms has been a local favorite choose-and-cut Christmas tree farm for years. Their farm features a large field of Fraser Fir trees that you get to choose from and have the employees cut down just for you.
They also have a small field, perfect for the little ones to choose their own small tree to take home. A hayride being led by a tractor will bring the whole family out to the tree fields. After your trip, be sure to stop by the gift shop for handmade wreaths and Christmas decor.
Appalachian Christmas Mountain Farms is open November 17th – 19th, 23rd – 26th, and December 1st – 3rd, and 8th – 10th.
2. C & J Christmas Trees

C & J Christmas Trees is a family-owned and operated tree farm in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains. They have a large selection of choose-and-cut and cut-your-own trees that do go very quickly, so it is recommended to get them early in the season.
They are still open after they sell out with pre-cut trees and wreaths. They also have a nice selection of snacks and drinks and meet and greets with Mr. and Mrs. Claus.
C & J Christmas Trees will be open every weekend starting November 11th and ending December 10th, 2023.
3. Circle C Tree Farms

Circle C Tree Farms is located just outside of Rocky Mountain Bike Park and has been serving the community Christmas trees since 1996. Circle C Farms has a beautiful selection of Fraser Firs, choose-and-cut trees, and pre-cut trees for this holiday season. They recommend wearing boots as it tends to get muddy out in the tree fields.

4. Clawson’s Choose & Cut

7. Poplar Grove Choose and Cut

Poplar Grove is a smaller, family-owned Fraser Fir tree farm that produces trees 8-11 feet tall. They are High Country’s most centrally located tree farm, making it an easy and perfect place to get the perfect tree. After you choose your tree, you can visit their gift shop, where they have handmade gifts, Christmas treats, wreaths, and more.
Poplar Grove will be open every day from November 19th – December 4th, 2023.
8. Appalachian Evergreens

Appalachian Evergreens is a generational family farm that has been running since 1933. Guests can get their very own Fraser Fir Christmas tree at this choose-and-cut farm. Bluestone Greenery is a family-owned and operated Fraser Fir tree farm that has been operating for over 40 years. Bluestone Greenery has a small selection of pre-cut trees, but they are most known for their gorgeous handmade wreaths and garlands. 11. Swinging Bridge Farm
